Trying Something New-ish

I'm revisiting abstracts this month - this time with some new techniques to loosen up a bit. Good thing I have some room in my studio!

This really does start with experimenting to see what direction the painting will go. I'm not always satisfied with the end result but I am loving the process of discovery and problem solving. It's really interesting how I can end up in a completely different direction than when I started.
